"very dirty carpet installed"
carpet was dirty when installed in bathroom ( indoor /outdoor carpet.medium blue, looked good at first but at nite when light is turned on you can see how dirty it actually was, I txt empire that very 1st nite, to no avail, called many times, finally a return call, installers came out to check out my dirty carpet and said it would be replaced, according to empire employee, that is not gonna happen said it was my fault that it was dirty and must have done something on my end, that I may have spilled something (on 3/4 of my carpet ?). are you kidding me?, I asked that they have someone to come and shampoo it (like why do I need a"brand new carpet shampooed you ask? I shouldn't have to! but they don't do that kind of work according to empire employee ) so my question is " what is a 20 yr guarantee for that I pd. xtra for? I definitely will not recommend empire carpet to anyone!

"Very Very Very Unsatisfied with Empire customer service"
I was satisfied with my carpet until we saw a worn spot down to the matting. We had the carpet put down after my dishwasher flooded. The water went thru the living room as well as the kitchen. The kitchen floor i love. This happened in march of 2014. The carpet was put down in April. In 2016, while vacuuming i noticed something shiny. I got closer and noticed the rug was gone and it was the matting shinning. I called and called. All i got was i will givevit to upper managment. Late in 2016. Finally a man his name was Jose, came to look. (Pictures couldn't show the real damage) he said it looked like it happened in the factory. The glue did not adhere to the carpet. He even gave me his number and said it should be replaced in a few weeks. Never heard from him again. I guess he got fired for being honest. I would love to have this resolved. "Stay Away!"
Very unsatisfactory! Called to take advantage - buy carpet for one room and get another room of less or equal size for free. Salesman came out and was an affable man who spoke nicely with us, but as we were considering the carpet selections, he kept steering us toward this one in particular. I kept opting for a slightly darker color but he kept steering me back to the one he was pushing. I should have been suspicious at that point, but I went ahead and took his advice. The workers later came out and did a sloppy job. They did some metal stripping work that looked awful; the previous installer did way better, and after a couple of years, the carpet started bubbling in one room, creating five separate ridges. Very unsightly. Also, the carpet itself constantly sheds and immediately became a dirty gray color and does not clean up right even with a steam cleaner. In short, our carpet looks twenty years old even though it is only five. Never use these people!

"Poor Customer Service"
I wanted carpet, I called to get carpet but... I've seen their ads for years and finally decided to check them out. Waited for my appointment as requested, and confirmed, from 5-7PM...no one called to tell me they were running late, not coming,nothing. I called them and the first call I was on hold and when answered I could hear them but they "supposedly" couldn't hear me?! Called back, on hold again, and was told the rep wouldn't be able to make it and he had told his manager...whatever that means. They offered me $50 to reschedule, seriously? Either just show up or call, I would've gladly rescheduled if someone had called me.Good-bye Empire!

"Awful carpet and even worse customer service"
Awful carpet and even worse customer service. Do not use this company! Worst quality carpet I have ever experienced and I have had carpet in my home for over 40 years. Customer service manager does not return calls and unwilling to take calls when made. Prices are cheaper for a reason - zero star rating. Stay away!

"No Show"
I scheduled an in-home estimate with Empire to install carpet in my basement. I received a confirmation email of the appointment, but they never showed up. I wasted my day waiting for them and never got a call or email saying why they did not show up.

"Worst service ever"
Worst service I've ever experienced. We needed two carpet runners for two sets of stairs. It's been 3 months and many hours of phone calls, multiple times of not returning phone calls, multiple no show install appointments they still have not completed the work. First and last time we use Empire and I would definitely not recommend anyone use them.

"Worst service in history"
When it takes 4 months to get an appointment to look at our severely worn carpet only by pretending to want new carpeting from this very poor company. This is actually a worse company than AT&T and thats saying alot!
