Mannington has won dozens of industry awards for design and styling excellence for its carpets, tiles, and wood flooring. Its residential product offerings include vinyl, fiberglass, carpet, laminate, and hardwood flooring as well as porcelain tile.
Exotic woods such as mahogany and cherry are available in Mannington laminate flooring under the name Diamond Bay. The laminate lines that simulate stone or porcelain are marketed under the names Revolutions Tile and NatureForm. Genuine porcelain tile is also available in 186 different styles and colors. Mannington hardwood flooring is engineered in 182 wood types and colors including hickory, oak, maple, and bamboo. Vinyl tiles with the appearance of porcelain, stone, or wood are popular choices in the Mannington line of Adura flooring products.
Other flooring materials manufactured by this company include sheet vinyl in 321 styles including the look of wood, stone, and porcelain tile. The Sobella line introduces fiberglass-core flooring which Mannington boasts is "the best looking, best performing fiberglass product on the market." Design styles offer the appearance of wood or stone at a much lower cost than the natural material.
In 1915, the company was founded by John Boston Campbell and his two sons in Salem, New Jersey. It was started as a vinyl flooring company and grew by adding other materials such as tile and carpets and, eventually, laminate flooring. The family-owned company now has operations and offices in six cities in the USA.
Mannington has a number of innovative programs to support the environment including its "Purple Martin Project" by which it cultivates bird migration for pest control. The company's New Jersey headquarters are located in the region's major wetlands where there are insects which are a problem for some of the manufacturer's product components. Rather than use pesticides to destroy the insects, the company decided to attract birds who feed on those insects by providing the birds with homes. The number of birds has tripled in the past decade while the number of pesky insects has become manageable.
Mannington vinyl tiles and resilient flooring are backed by a 20-year residential warranty while its coverage for Adura flooring is for five years. Sobella fiberglass flooring is covered for five to 10 years depending on the product purchased. The company provides a lifetime structural warranty for its engineered hardwood floors along with a 25-year limited warranty on the finish of some of its products.
