"Un Happy"
I bought Konecto prestige planks 36 months ago. It is curling on the ends. I called talked to a rep. She said the direct sun light will cause this problem. For me to go out buy prevail 30gs pull planks up and reglue them down, put a heavy object on it tell it sets up. Very unhappy with product.

"Still going strong, holding up beautifully"
Installed 1000' in 2009, medium color (beach) with an underlay over concrete. Installer followed instructions exactly, inspected a week post-installation & did another pass with the big roller again to make sure bonded. Still love it & no seams have ever failed, the color had not faded or changed. Does show some scratches but there is a method to fix that. Installer did not perfectly level the concrete in the hall so some imperfections show. Have a baby grand on large thick casters but know that will show dimples when I move but a real hardwood will also show wear and tear eventually. we have cats, get lots of dust where I live & floor is easy to mop quickly with water& periodically cleaning with gentle soap & water. Love the play of the grain as the sunlight travels during the day. Still a very satisfied customer & a couple of friends were so inspired by my floor they installed their own. would absolutely buy it again but next time I would do the demo myself& save some $$$. My only question is now that I've built a Walk-in closet & moved a door, I've got some patching to do & not sure how as the floor adhesive is still really bonded!

"Professional opinion"
My husband and I are installers an we have installed every type of flooring and we have indoor pets so we decided to go with Konecto due to the price and quality combined. We have had ours down now for 4 years and it is still like brand new and that is with 4 dogs and two grandkids running amuck in it. Anybody who has issues with it has had an installer improperly lay it because we have installed lots of it and all customers were happy with it. In regards to one of your reviews about the nails in subfloor coming through that was an installer error. They should of used wood screws to secure the floor and knocked down any nails that were sticking up. It amazes me how some shoddy installation blames the product

"Love it! Great flooring."
This is by far the best flooring we have ever had and this is
"experience " talking after having built and then having lived in two
houses. It is durable and attractive at the same time. We lived through
horrible "no wax" vinyl that lost its shine and displayed cuts with
little traffic. We love it.

"Installation of Konecto flooring"
Beware! Correct installation of this vinyl product is crucial to
satisfaction and how well and long it will wear. My installer installed
Konecto on the bare 3/4" plywood sub floor and said all would be fine.
However after walking on the floor for a few months the nails from the
sub floor are poking up into the vinyl and every little bump, crack,
riffle, grain of the wood is showing through and making the floor look
like a washboard. No matter what your installer tells you, get
underlayment of 1/4" plywood put over the sub floor prior to installing.
In Anchorage, AK, be especially aware of installers who don't used
underlayment.

"Scratches Scratches Scratches"
This 'beautiful' looking floor was professionally installed in our
kitchen at great expense. After about two months we noticed scratches
appearing everywhere. Our chairs have guards on the legs so the
scratches should not have happened due to their movement. We contacted
the sales and installing company and after they contacted Konecto they
finally received a reply over a month later that 'scratches' are not
covered under the warranty. We saved for 5 years to put this floor in
and are beyond unhappy with it. Buyers of Konecto beware of their
"warranty"!

"Konecto is Perfecto!"
I looked around a lot before deciding on the Prestige Collection of Konecto planks. We love them! We have the chestnut color. The flooring is beautiful. The planks are made to look like real wood planks. We use a Swiffer dry and wet for cleaning. It cleans and wipes up easily. We also have it in our bathroom. It is waterproof. Some scratches, but it's hard to see them because of the grain of the "wood." We have two little kids so it takes a beating and it gets lots of spills. It still looks great! Would highly recommend!! Would purchase this type of flooring again in a heartbeat. In fact, when we redo our basement, I would like to get this same product.

"Konecto Vinyl Flooring Works Well But Can Chip Easily"
I have owned the Konecto vinyl flooring in my kitchen for over 10 years. There are several things I like about it. First, it is easy to clean. I don't have to get special cleaners to mop the floor. A little bit of vinegar mixed in water cleans it well. Second, it doesn't need to be waxed. I used to own hardwood floor. They looked nice, but I had to wax it every few months or it would look dull. Maintenance was a real pain. This vinyl floor, on the other hand, was simple to maintain, as it only needed to be mopped once in a while. What I really like about it, however, is its looks. Many of my friends who visited don't even realize my floor is vinyl. They have complimented me on my "wood" floor without knowing any better. There is one major downside, though. When heavy objects are dropped on it, the surface gets chipped, making it look less like wood. I have to admit this was not a problem until I had kids. So overall, I would still recommend it.
