Review:
"Don't buy for normal foot traffic"
I purchased Stainmaster vinyl plank flooring for our to auto dealership showrooms that have just light foot traffic. We are having issues where the locks are breaking and coming apart in both locations. We made a warranty claim with Stainmaster and have no complaints with the courtesy and promptness in the processing of the claim. They sent an arbitrator out to look at the flooring issues and as my installer had warned me in advance, he will be blamed for the flooring issues. That turned out to be the case. The installer who is a customer of our dealership is very concerned with his reputation tied to a very poor looking product. He offered to reinstall the flooring for no charge to correct the problem because he has never had an issue like this in all of his installs. Vinyl flooring is all he installs. I would strongly suggest not purchasing this product in any area where normal foot traffic will be the norm. I did not purchase this product because it was the cheapest on the shelf. I bought it for the Stainmaster name and the appearance and this turned out to be a big mistake. So in closing we have two locations where we spent approximately $8,000 and have a very poor looking product.

Review:
"Crappy Laminate Flooring"
Two years ago I purchased the supplies to take out the carpet from my dining room and replace them with SwiftLock Natural Oak / Smooth High Gloss Finish Laminate Flooring from Lowes Home Improvement store. At first I loved them. Installation was quite easy, and I had never done any flooring before. They looked wonderful, many people thought it was real wood. They were shiny, new, and quite inexpensive. Fast forward about 3 months down the road, and now it's a different story. The floors have peeled up in some places, and chipped in others. Gaps have even come up in some spots. They are not very resistant to water and they almost look wilted. I have not repaired them yet, but I plan on completely taking them up and replacing them with something better. I would never buy this flooring again and I would not recommend them to even my worst enemy.
