"My dog keeps splaying on this floor"
I've always had hardwood floors. For some reason, my dog keeps splaying all 4 legs on this floor. She has never had a problem on the other hardwood floors. I should have put down carpet or some other type of hardwood floor. She is so sore and keeps licking and trying to protect her legs. She's splayed so many times when walking off the rubber backed carpet. I am really worried she will permanently injure herself, as many times she can not get back up with all 4 legs splayed out. I am so pissed at myself.

"Disappointed"
I am shocked at how many chips there are to edges of my new floor. They just splintered off on many edges. The boards have spaced over the past 3 months, so a lighter color is showing up between some of the boards now. I really think it needs to be restrained. Sooo very sorry we did not go with solid hardwood floors now. It is embarrassing to invite people into our newly remodeled home, and there are 8 splintered pieces on the first floor. I would recommend you look at a different brand. We bought it from a well established installer here that has a good reputation. Yes, it acclimated in our house before installation!

"Beautiful high quality"
I almost didn't buy this brand because of reviews of Homewood that I read. I found a great deal on them and went with them anyway. The guy I hired to install them here in Gainesville FL said he sells Homerwood himself. He couldn't believe I paid $6 a square foot. The end result is they look beautiful and my home looks much bigger since I had it put throughout the home. My on complaint is the high gloss scratches easily. With the five mm wear layer, I am not that worried about it. Similar brands had maybe a two mm wear layer. Couldn't be happier

"Low quality"
Hi, after about 2 years the floor started disintegrating. We contacted customer service and they told us no warranty. Sorry, but very poor performance.

"Nothing like the sample"
We bought smooth saddle based on a beautiful sample board. When it arrived, it was nothing like the quality or color of the sample. Also we were told there was nothing they could do to make it right and would charge a huge restocking fee if we returned it. Next steps will be to talk to the BBB. Buyer beware! I've since read that after Armstrong bought this company a few years ago the quality has gone down.

"HomerWood Quality Control"
We had our kitchen installed with HomerWood hardwood flooring five years ago... alternating 4" and 5" planks. Now we are in the midst of installing identical flooring throughout the first floor. Unfortunately HomerWood is no longer able to provide 4" and 5" planks with similar color; apparently the stain applied to a 4" plank results in a lighter color than that of a 5" plank such that you end up with alternating striped pattern. I'm not sure why they could obtain consistent color in the staining yesteryear but not now. The only resolution we could find was to purchase similarly sized planks, all 4" or 5" planks, which unfortunately detracts from the character of the floor.

"My Beautiful Walnut Wood Floors"
About six months ago I had my HomerWood Engineered Walnut Hardwood Flooring professionally installed in my new home by Lowes Home Improvement store. I love the beautiful texture it has and it is so unique compared to all other plain wood floors. It fits in just wonderfully with the modern look and feel of my home. All of the individual planks are different, some are dark brown, some are lighter, which at first I was somewhat skeptical about but it actually looks quite nice. There are two things that I do not like about the HomerWood Engineered Walnut Hardwood Flooring. One is the cost. It was pretty expensive, but I believe you get what you pay for and these floor should hold up for years to come. Second is they are very hard. After standing or walking on them for a few minutes my feet begin to hurt. So far I have had to make no repairs on them. I love this floor and I will be replacing on the carpet it my house with them and I would definitely recommend them to a friend!

"Splinter In My Neck"
I have owned my HomerWood floors for about 2 months. I hardly like anything about them except for the fact that they weren't as expensive as the other brands. What I dislike about them is a whole lot of things such as when I got a promise of a quality product from the installer but, that was a plain lie. The way they look in my house is so ugly that it's as if the person living in this home doesn't care about where or how they live. I still get splinters all the time walking on this wooden contraption and it's not just me because when I have guests over my house they complain as well. I never had to repair them yet but, honestly I have no idea if they are messed up to begin with and that is why I am having such a bad experience owning them or if it's that the quality just isn't there. I would never buy the same brand again and if my friend asked me if I would recommend these floors I would say " don't be cheap like me and spring for a better brand because as you can see it is not working out for me". I can't believe I actually have to live with this wooden floor now, that is until I decide to move.
