"So unhappy"
We did our entire downstairs including the kitchen in their high gloss
laminate. In retrospect, I should have known there would be trouble when
we had to have the installer back the next day to pound down some
"bubbles." After a year I am left with a horrible looking floor in the
kitchen because any moisture has caused bubbling at the seams. The
boards haven't lifted but there seems to be a hair-thin layer that has
lifted up. Let me say that I have had other brand laminate floors in my
kitchen and have always loved the fact that nothing seemed to hurt them.
Not so with my Shaw floor. I hate it with a passion and can't wait to
replace it. It's a shame--it looks great in the rest of the house and
there are no scratches, but the kitchen is mess.

"LVT, Versa Loc"
This was professionally measured & installed. We have 2 boxes left over.
As I was out of town during installation, my first impression when I
walked in the door was it looked scuffed, dusty looking, dull. I tried
washing it & they gave me a cleaner @ the flooring store, Still looks
dull! I also can see nail? Pops underneath. I hate it, plain & simple!
Depresses me just to look at it!

"Scratched from furniture + other issues."
Looked great for about 10 minutes, upon putting the furniture back it
already scratched. Also at least a third of the box was chipped and or
broken as it come out. This is near impossible to keep clean, it showed
foot prints and everything. Now it is coming apart where they snap
together, we even went the extra step of sealing the floor and using the
under pad. When I called about the warranty I am instructed to go where
I purchased the product which seems fair. Only the place I purchased
does not seem to have a record of my purchase. I have receipts in hand
and will go give it a try. I would certainly never purchase this product
again. We have since purchased a better product for two other rooms at
1/2 the price.

"Shaw Versa Lock Vinyl Plank Flooring"
I bought enough planks to cover approx. 900 sq. Ft. Have much
remodeling experience, but did the research on installation. So far, I
have installed in 1 room 3 times, the remainder of the house 2 times.
Looks good initially, but after 1 week, planks start to separate. I
would not recommend this product to anyone, as the instructions are
misleading and the results are poor.

"Shaw looks good but is not good"
My dog had one accident and that section of floor is ruined. It buckles
everywhere and is hard to clean/ Never use this flooring I only wish I
had read the reviews first. I would never buy it again.

"Has only been one week see a gap"
We installed 300 square feet of this product on our basement floor
(cement). Ours did not lock together with "very little force" as stated
in the installation guidelines. It was very difficult to interlock and
to keep it interlocked. It cannot be cut with a utility knife, as stated
in the installation guidelines. It can be "scored" with a utility knife
and snapped off for length or width. To cut details around door jambs,
you must use snips. I would not use this product again.

"Never, ever buy Shaw"
If you use their laminate on an office floor, you'll be sorry! I had
their laminate installed in my home office. Not long after, it started
to come apart. Their 25 year warranty is a sham, because the use of
chairs with castors is specifically excluded from the warranty. The
only solution offered is to replace the broken boards, ourselves. I
would never buy anything made by Shaw again. Poor quality, poor
customer service.

"Cracking even before install"
Planking came out of box with ends and edges cracked. Impossible to work
with, returning and purchasing hopefully something of better quality.
Moral of the story is stay away from this product.

"Not consumer friendly for installation and is buckling where the sun hits"
This product is not easy to install. It is hard to get one piece
attached to the other. When you click the end, the sides would come
out and vise versa. After installation it did look pretty good. I
installed in the kitchen and dining room. I followed all of the
instructions and now I have buckling where the dining room table sits
on it and in front of the sliding doors where the sunlight hits it. It
looks absolutely horrible in this area and I would never recommend
this product to anyone. If I could get my money back I would rip it
up. I'm stuck with it now.

"Not Happy"
I installed the vinyl Shaw flooring in one of my rental properties. 6
months after installing the floor I started seeing in several different
spots (in the middle of the planks) where the top layer was peeling and
cracked. I called and made a warranty claim and was told that I installed
the floor wrong!
