Thomasville Hardwood Flooring is manufactured with genuine hardwood. As a result, it will have different wood grains and finish tones. Certain wood characteristics, such as knots and mineral streaks, are natural, and should not be considered defects.
In general, Thomasville Hardwood will darken and appear to have a richer hue. The shades and colors of the wood can change from contact with sunlight. These changes can be more noticeable between covered and uncovered sections of the floor. Thomasville recommends moving the locations of furniture and area rugs to limit the floor's direct contact with sunlight, and ensure a more consistent tone for your hardwood.
