"Horrible!"
I ordered carpet/installation with Lowes. It was installed with stains all over it. I have spent 4 months getting a run around from Lowes, stainmaster and the installer. I have used Home Depot in the past and had a great experience. Lowes should not be allowed to do this! Now I'm stuck with carpet with stains all over it and paid over $3,000 for it! Beware!! Don't use lowes for carpet!

"I wish I had looked at these reviews..."
$3500 for half the house. Nice padding underneath. 24 months interest free, all three made it attractive. After one year we called, as the carpet was shedding on the edges where it meets the tile. After several calls someone came out. Blamed it on the installer nothing was done. Three years later, the carpet has ripples. Still in great shape since there are only two of us, no kids and no pets. But allow me to say this: If Lowes offered to remove the carpet and install any type of flooring for free, based on our first and last experience we would politely decline. Do not make the same mistake. You will regret it.

"Lame!"
Guys. I needed to replace my carpet and went to you (lowes) first. I went and made an appt with you. Lady had no clue how to answer questions, and said ask the next person, but scheduled a subcontractor to come do measurements. Guy came out to do measurements, $35, and he was awesome. He said lowes would call me in a week, and they did. I got a call and scheduled an appt to finalize sale. Came in for my appt and no one was working in the flooring department or even believed I had an appt. I tried to work with someone else who also, could not really help me work out any details I needed. I came back the next day, hoping to figure out a deal, and no one was there, again. I left a hand written note on the desk in flooring, and also had another employee leave a hand written note, asking to call me. I came back in the next day. Again, no one was there, and no one knew how to help me. The reason I kept having to come in is because when I called I couldn't leave a message for flooring and was just told to call back another time. I called to reschedule appt twice also and no one knew how and I was told to come back, so I did, three times. Screw this. I called another flooring company that is charging $1,700 less. Wow!! I am I glad you guys blew me off! SO SO glad. I asked for the cheapest carpet for 930 sq ft and was quoted $3,750 Thank you so much, I really do appreciate your negligence. You are a rip off and you know it.

"Not happy"
Ok, a few years back during the holidays lowes delivered a washer and dryer. They tested the washer and flooded our house. Lowes offered Carpet and at the time I thought it was good of them. It's been a few years and the crew they sent must have been idiots because all over our house there are creases from faulty installation and any carpet edge touching tile has also failed and it looks awful. I remember them stretching but not using the wall to wall stretcher that should be used to get proper stretch. Now that it has been a while and the carpet life should have lasted longer I am faced with repair or replacement. So adding insult to injury after the flood They did a terrible job of installation.

"Boycott Lowe's"
O stars....installer walked off the job because I wouldn't pay him more "cash". Last of many insults! Lowe's doesn't protect there customers. Investigate before you sign! They ( lowes ) will tell you there is nothing they can do ...even to return your money. Good cop bad cop deal.

"Carpet install"
I had purchased carpet from Lowes and had installed in 2019. My carpet is lumping in a spare bedroom that has not been used since install and was told by Lowes that they can not help me because I am past 1yr. Everything I have researched points to poor installation... beware!

"Concealed warranty information"
Bought carpet from Lowes in 2017. Carpet now shows a darkening in high traffic areas. Stanley Steemer says it's not a stain, it's wearing out of the fibers - removal of a coating. Called Stainmaster about warranty and was told that it had to be professionally cleaned every 18 months or the warranty is void. was not told this at purchase so didn't do this. Now stuck with this issue. Stainmaster is calling it "soiling" - not a wear issue, which indicates that it might be possible to clean, but the cleaning experts at SS disagree. At any rate, I'm stuck.

"Horrible install"
Never buy and have Lowes install carpet. After just two year the carpet was buckling badly. Had living room, dining room and hallway done all buckled. Five steps that are wearing down. I don't believe I got the padding I paid for either. Contacted Lowes and they refused to make good because it was not within their year warranty but told me to contact the carpet company. Now why would I do that the carpet company did not chose the installer. What a run around. The hump in the living room is right in the middle and is now 2 inches high, yes 2 inches. Now I have to find and pay for someone to stretch it. Please don't buy from Lowes.

"Lowes destroyed baseboards in carpet installation"
We had carpet installed by Lowes and their install team destroyed my baseboards in every room on the installation. I specifically walked the house with the install team took pictures with their cell phone. After the install, all the baseboards in the install rooms had nick's throughout the baseboards. We have contacted Lowes over a month ago and nothing has been done. Lowes keeps saying they will look into it but no follow-up nor action on Lowes' part. Very dissatisfied customer.
