"Worst Company"
Mohawk has failed to inform us of the denied claim regarding our floors breaking due to my wheelchair. We have called numerous times to resolve this issue, and this lack of communication is unacceptable. They said we didn’t contact in time of the warranty, but we have called months before the warranty even ended. This was just a waste of time and now I have to deal with these floors until I have enough money to get (New Floors).

"Poor Quality and Worthless Warranty"
Moved into a new build, MOHAWK hardwood floors installed.
Within 1 year the stain was coming off around the house, even in low/zero foot traffic areas. A hardwood floor seller came to look and immediately said that I should submit a warranty claim. MOHAWK sent an "inspector", no official certification to do as far as I could tell. Denied claim saying I had "moisture" in the house??? In a 4 year old new build, no idea what that even means.
I hired a Certified Hardwood Flooring Inspector to perform an independent inspection. They produced a report stating manufacturing defect. Resubmitted Warranty Claim, denied for same reason as before "Moisture". MOHAWK have no intention of honoring warranty claims on their poor quality flooring.

"Warranty Useless - Floor Scratches - Planks Separate"
Tecwood engineered wood floor, 5" Brindisi Light Amber Maple. Floated install on slab. First winter, flooring planks separated leaving gaps between boards. Installer got the floor back together. Second winter, same thing. Had Mohawk inspection, claim denied. Mohawk says that you have to maintain a temperature of 65-75 degrees and humidity of 35-55% year round at all times. So in most of the country you could never open a window year round and you would need whole house humidifier in winter and dehumidifier in summer or keep you summer AC at 65 degrees and your heat off in the winter. Just plain stupid. In addition, the flooring scratches easily and the finish is very thin. My floor is two years old and we have only two elderly adults who don't wear shoes in the house. Floors scratch if you just look at them. We bought an expensive hard floor vacuum just for this floor. I do not recommend Mohawk to anyone and would never buy from Mohawk again. It looked good day one but not since then.

"Buy Mohawk if you only need the floor for a few years."
We hired a retail flooring company to install laminate hardwood flooring throughout our house prior to moving in. We bought it in Sept 2015. Around 2-3 years later the edges started to chip and break off. I recently came across the Mohawk warranty information and found that it was supposed to be covered for 20 years. I contacted the company that installed the flooring. Unfortunately they did not survive COVID. This only gave me option to contact Mohawk directly. They typically do not deal directly with public (and it shows).
I got the appropriate forms and followed their procedure. After several weeks they told me that they would need to send an inspector to my house to get photos and etc of the affected area. After this inspection they sent me an email that they would not be honoring their warranty as it was not "normal wear" on the tiles. I have emailed them back to have them better explain this but after a week or so of no response I decided to post my review of their inferior product.
The areas that wore are high traffic areas - hallways, doorways, etc. The flooring is nice looking and does very well in non high traffic areas. Everywhere we had walking and moving things across it the product failed consistently and completely. Apparently their flooring is only for show and NOT for use. Now I am in the process of replacing their 20 year floor (only 7 years later as the wear is significant and looks terrible). I have to say I will be asking the new installer about who they use to make sure it is NOT Mohawk brand... don't want to install a new floor again in 5 years.

"Defective and not as advertised"
Do not buy this laminated floor, is supposed to be easily installed and believe me, this trash floor is the hardest thing i had tried, it is really hard to put boards together, also once installed withing days days floor starts warping even with no moisture around, tried getting a refund and this stupid company makes up any excuse to not honor ther lifetime warranty, it took them almost 2 months to tell me they would not honor warranty and on top of it they don't even inspect the floor themselves, they make you take pictures whichvis not the same as being there yourself, i forgot to check for reviews on this trash and ended up regreting it.

"Weathersby 5" graphite handscaped hardwood floors"
We have weathersby 5" graphite handscaped hardwood floors as we were told since we were on a slab not to get real hardwood. They selling point was with a dog they will not show scratches which so untrue! These floors are so awful. If you have a pet, live in your home or have children do not install.
They are so cheap looking, scratch extremely easy and you cannot have them refinished. Once installed you instantly see how cheap and how fake they look. After the first few months we had noticeable scratches that cannot be sanded out or removed. Its now been 5 years and they look so worn and the only solution is to replace the floors! Total waste of money!

"Just garbage"
I was told by the contractor who built my addition that since it was on a slab I needed engineered wood. Mohawk tecwood was recommended. This stuff is pure garbage. Before the room was even finished and used, the floor was scratched everywhere - it would scratch if you even looked at it. I reported this and mohawk sent out a paid for consultant who deemed it not defective. Now, after less than 2 years (during which I have never even allowed my dogs to walk on it) the floor is scratched beyond repair. It will need to be replaced and the company does not stand behind it. Do not buy this flooring.

"Terrible Flooring! Do Not Buy"
Although the beauty of these floors are something, but after you spend the money lay the flooring and give it time...They start peeling in spots even that are not high traffic areas. The website says basically don't wet mop but thats almost impossible because you see every drip on the floor. So mine looks scratched, severely peeling and dirty all the time! They are horrible! do not buy Im telling, ya you have been warned!

"Horrible Quality"
Do not purchase Mohawk flooring. Our home is 2 years old and our floors look like we have lived here for 20 years. They are not durable at all. They scratch like crazy and the top layer is actually peeling. We had an independent inspector come out and even with his input Mohawk will not stand behind it's own product and replace the damaged boards. The product is marketed by new builders (Darling, don't buy a Darling home either) as "bullet proof". If it can't withstand steam from a dishwasher or a dropped ice cube by the refrigerator, then it should not be installed in a kitchen! Don't ever buy Mohawk.

"Don't You Do It!"
We bought a new build from a prominent builder here in South Florida. We lived in a house with engineered flooring that was absolutely gorgeous so we did not think anything about it this time around. This house was finished in January of 2017 and we moved in. A year and a half into the home, the floors started to bubble and crack on the ends, with swelling and cracking along the edges, with serious gapping and shrinking. The wood veneer is not just fading but disappearing and turning into this ugly muted delaminating grey. Right now, we are enduring the runaround between the builder, installer, and of course Mohwawk who has denied my claim. Since this was a $20,000 upgrade, I am going to fight them down to my last dime. My advice to anybody reading this, if you walk into a model or and as-built, please make sure that the floor is not Mohawk. If it is, do yourself a favor, head for the door! I have been reading their reviews all over the land of "Made In America" and there are a lot of bad reviews across the nation. For anybody reading this, maybe we need to deal with this collectively. I will be speaking to an attorney on Monday.
