"Shaw laminate"
Horrible laminate. Limited selection was our first complaint. The edges of each segment are poorly finished and the laminate surface pops up when it is installed. The tiniest bit of moisture sitting on the surface where boards join, causes bi bubbles in the surface. We have no children nor dogs.... we have been in the house for just one month and this laminate already looks and feels terrible. Do NOT buy Shaw. Major disappointment. We will be having it removed and replaced it is so bad.

"Floor of horrors"
I have Shaw floor..Hampshire 3 1/4" Natural Maple installed in 11/15/10 by Sherer Flooring in Jasper, Ala. I later installed the same floor in the only rm., left, so all the floors in the house would, match. I hate this floor. It is horrible, because I can not even have a rocking chair on it, because it grooves so bad. I had to get rid of my family rocker, because of this. The floor never looks clean, shows every spot, every scratch, dirt and in one rm., the finish has is peeling off. I went to sherer's and complained showing them pictures of this floor. Their reply was, I was not cleaning it right, I could not use any type of cleaner on it, nothing but water. I am stuck with an eternally dirty looking floor. They admitted that I had a lifetime warranty on it. They did order new risers, because they looked like something had been ran over them, but they knew, it was not that, because it is only me and my husband and our dogs. We got this floor because it was supposed to be pet friendly .. That is a joke. Never buy

"Open end joints"
Installed floor May 2016 by July 2016 ends of planks had opened up numerous areas. Adhesive we used incredible adequate. Had a board delaminate over nite. With great effort to remove from adhesive in order to replace. Shaw sent someone almost 2 years later to say the concrete was unlevel. Installing since 1983 and never had a floor to shrink like this product. Acts like green wood as it continues to dry. We had product left over and stored on sight which had separated and fractured into itself which had never been installed. Waiting on Shaw test result. Not liking these reviews of other customers with the same end gaping issues. Will Shaw stand behind their product?

"3rd floor coming in only 16 months! No more Shaw."
We have lived in our new flat for 16 months. We started getting floor problems straight away (Shaw) and we got new set of floors (Shaw) 8 months ago. New installation was done by skilled professionals, but they warned us about the material saying that they would not sell these floors to anyone. Now these 8months old replaced planks are braking; edges lifting, pealing. Inspector came to check the floors and the claim goes to Shaw for "manufacturing defect". Shaw has promised to replace faulty planks but we don't want to go through that hassle again. We have completely lost our trust in Shaw. No more Shaw floors!

"Bleached, scratches"
I spent more than $50K installing Shaw top of the line dark hardwood flooring. The floor is bleached almost white where our rugs laid. The floor scratches easily and I was told it would not and where the surface has gotten wet the surface is literally coming off. I am in Beaumont Texas and I believe a class action suit is in order. We have great lawyers here and they would win.

"Terrible"
Worst flooring I have ever seen. They said it's to dry in our house. The humidity level is exactly what is recommended by them. It cannot get any more perfect. Splinters are happening all over the flooring including under chairs where there is no traffics. Do not buy these floors from Shaw. Terrible company and their warranty is a joke.

"Horrible Product"
Purchased 1,285 sq ft October 2015. Boards began to buckle. Same excuses as the others stated, moisture. Do not buy Shaw - laugh at their warranty.

"Should of kept my carpet"
I am very disappointed with my experience with this flooring. Several planks were broke in multiple boxes. My floors have only been completed and down one day and the paper is already peeling off the top! This has been a nightmare!

"Avoid this"
Awful product. The finish wears off in high traffic areas. Ours was installed in a new built house in 2013 and was looking bad not too long after we moved in. Used the color stick for shading areas where color chipped or worn off. But after awhile, this technique could not keep up with the floor damages caused just by everyday normal use. My wife's office floor has large areas where the color has worn off. Also subject to edge curling if it comes in contact with liquid. The kitchen floor has many curled boards. Imagine that! This floor is super fragile and Shaw should be reimbursing everyone who paid good money for this really bad floor product.
