"Coming apart at the seams! Horrible!"
Looked great the first week. Then it started coming apart. I filed a claim through Menards (where I purchased it) and they forwarded it to Shaw Flooring. They suggested I use colored caulk in the cracks. I told them to send me a 5 gallon bucket. And that there suggestion was unacceptable. They sent out a person to see if my floors were level. According to him they were not. The house was built in '86. So yeah, not as level as a brand new home. But I would like to know how many homes have completely level floors.
They refuse to do anything at all. I can't afford to replace it myself. So it will be fun to pull it up and re install it and use glue and probably some duck tape to make sure it doesn't happen again. That will be some fun photos to spread around social media! I will be sure to share those photos with them as well.
I honestly wish I had read everyone else's reviews first. Lesson learned for when I put new flooring in the rest of my house.

"Don't buy this product"
Coming apart at the seams. Was professionally installed by Lowe's. Will not stand behind installers. Floor was put down June 23. Coming up a week later. First of Oct and still cannot get lowes to do anything. Not good quality!

"Very disappointed"
I purchased this product 3 years ago & 6 months into the purchase the cleaning product they required me to use gave me a terrible oily buildup & was leaving horrible footprints on my floor - didn't matter if your shoes were on or you were barefoot - Shaw hasn't stood behind their product - told me to use rubbing alcohol which they do not support... the business I bought it from took it off the shelf after I complained-that says it all!

"Not Wood or anything close to it"
Hovnanian builders uses this cheap product as their laminate floor option. Unfortunately I bought a house with it already installed. It is nothing more than a picture printed of wood glued to cheap fiberboard. The floor clicks and squeaks as well as is buckled in many places. They (Hovnanian) refused to fix it saying all laminate is this way. It is NOT. Pergo (even their cheapest) is more wood like than this cardboard imitation. A section was taken up because of such a severe squeak and the installer forgot to bring the backing so he used brown paper bags and glued the new pieces to it saying "this cheap stuff isn't going to last so why bother with anything fancy." It is a definite Don't Buy!

"Pro floor installer"
I recently installed a 900 square foot oak prefinished floor and had to pick through every piece to make sure all the defects were not used. I had 4 boxes of extra flooring that could not be used due to defects and so many small pieces. I will never install this product ever again. This install took twice as long as it should have taken and cost me money.

"Poor Quality"
I bought prefinished 3/4" wood flooring in dark cocoa color for a
bedroom. The quality was very poor with splits, cracks, and chips of
color missing. Total scrap factor was almost 50%. Threw several boxes
(scrap) away. Shaw would not stand by the product quality. Do not waste
your money on Shaw wood flooring.

"Do not buy, Junk, Bad customer service"
This is the worst product I have ever purchased and installed. They do
not lock together and are a real problem trying to install... They do
not hold... Time consuming It took days to install with the fighting the
connections. Do not buy... Buy something else. Ended up tearing the
complete floor up and throwing it the dumpster and bought another brand

"Junk. Stay Away"
This product is the worst I have ever installed. The locking joints are
brittle and do not hold. It took 4 times the time to wrestle with the
installation of this. I called customer service and all they said was
did you use the wedges with no other help with there inferior product. I
wish I would have looked at the reviews. Horrible. Dont buy this
product, they have no excuses for the junk they sell.

"Stay away!"
Even though the sides have a locking mechanism that works. The ends do
not! They have a (for the lack of a better description) a leg of an "l"
that drops into an inverted "l" end and have a tendency to lift, or not
stay together when exposed to traffic. The manufacturer will send an
inspector, and they will find everything they can to not back the
product. Stay away! The product is being redesigned as we speak, and
they still will not back the product.

"Looks like cheap laminate, but cost like hardwood = loser product"
I ordered and had this installed through Costco in Eugene, Oregon. I
would not recommend ever buying flooring from Costco or having them
install it. More on that later. The finished product looks like cheap
laminate, yet cost a small fortune -- it is embarrassing and depressing
to have many visitors comment on "your new laminate flooring"; I've
given up explaining that it's really rather expensive engineered
hardwood that simply looks like low-end laminate. The Costco salesman
was very nice but in hindsight he was not helpful in explaining what
this would look like (I.E. laminate). The samples looked like
individual planks, which they are, but once installed it looks just
like the panels laminate come in. We also had to have the installer
come back multiple (countless) times to replace or redo everything from
individual planks to all the molding. And speaking of molding, the
molding with this product is so tall you nearly trip over it. It is
quite inelegant, clunky in fact, and looks silly. I would never
recommend anyone buy this product.
