"Mohawk does not honor warranties"
We bought Shaw "all pet" warranty carpet. It urine smell and stain did not come out cleaned by Stanley Steemer. A great cleaning co. They kept going on the area. Shaw sent an "inspector". He gave his opinion and judged my home and said home was well kept! How dare he comment on my home. He was there to look at carpet. They denied claim on 1 yr old carpet! Stay w Stainmaster. Their word means something. Pls warn your friends not to buy Shaw!

"Disappointed and Dissatisfied"
We had our house recarpeted in August 2014. By February 2016, it looked
old and worn out. Local Dealer came out and looked at it and said this
was the first time he had ever had a problem with this carpet. Entire
house was recarpeted at their expense. By February 2017, it looked awful
with cornrows everywhere. Dealer even more puzzled. We paid another
$1600 to get the highest grade 55oz carpet. Its been just a few months
and I'm started to see the same wear patterns as the first two times. I
don't know what we'll do. We've spent almost $7,000 on carpet that
doesn't last a year. Don't walk, run away from Shaw carpet

"Shaw Carpet is Horrible - Run"
When we got this carpet it did not take but 3 mos. to notice the grouping
of the carpet in the traffic areas. Note: there is only 2 people living
in the home and we always take off your shoes when we come in. We even
got the thicker carpet in that category. Shaw sent some representative
to look at it and they could not find anything wrong with it. A year
later we reopened the claim along with the company we brought the carpet
from and even with our flooring company that could understand and see
what we have been complaining about - Shaw denied us again. Shaw does
not stand behind their product. This is bs! Thank goodness we
did not put that crap in our Great Room. We put in Kraus Carpet (Winston
- Cameo Stone. Now that is a wonderful plush carpet. It wasn't that much
more either. Don't give Shaw Carpet the time of day.

"Issue with Shaw Carpet Seams"
Consumers beware.
We had new Shaw (top of the line) carpet installed 9 weeks ago. We had just purchased the house and decided to upgrade the carpet due to the fact that the previous owners had dogs. Immediately, the seams looked like they were Velcro together. They didn't line up and looked like they were going to come apart. A new installer came out and tried to fix the problem but was unable to. The local dealer (who is a very honest guy) then had the second installer replace some of the carpet with new carpet. I watched him work on it and he explained to me that the design made it very difficult to seam properly. The seams still show completely and are already getting some "corn row" frizzing. Keep in mind, that this last re-install was last week! To make matters worse, a Shaw rep. came out and told me the seams were "perfect" and that they clearly met industry standards. He stated that they would not do anything about the carpet and that we had to accept it as is.
I wish I would have found these reviews prior to purchasing this very expensive Rag. I have no hope of it lasting any length of time and believe this company is dishonest. They have already shown me that they won't even cover 1 week old carpet.

"Nobody home"
Tried three times to use Costco carpet and could not get a response.
Called Costco twice with no response by the local carpet company. We got
one email from Colorado flooring saying to call and schedule a
consultation. Called three times and left voicemail twice. Also replied
by email. Absolutely no response. Ended up using Sloane's carpet who was
very responsive.

"Terrible company"
Purchased Shaw carpet. Took 5 weeks to come in. Came in with blue dye
streaks all over it. Pictures taken and submitted weren't acceptable.
Sent an independent guy to my home as carpet was just laid out and not
installed. He scrubbed with a tooth brush and a bar of soap for over 30
minutes. Ink did not come out! Reorder was delayed due to they say a
backorder but don't believe it. Took over 7 weeks for new carpet to
arrive. Rolled out to cut and this carpet had orange dotted ink spots
all down the sides. Now they insist on replacing it for a third time in
lieu of refunding my purchase. Don't buy their carpet!

"$2,500 of carpet sold by a worthless company"
Freshly installed in an empty house on 13 Feb 2017 (moved in 03 March).
Two spots showed up where the carpet pile detached from the backing.
Submitted a claim with photos of the damage through the store I
purchased the carpet from and received this from Shaw:
"The photos show pulls and snags. The fibers are still attached to the latex; this is considered locally caused damage. The fibers should be trimmed to minimize further damage. If a sample of uninstalled material is available, please forward a 1'x1' to the address below for testing at the lab. At this time the claim is being closed."
No representative from Shaw even bother to contact me about the issue.
I wish I had looked for reviews prior to my purchase.

"Worst than worst carpet"
For carpet that cost over $3 a square foot, it is the worst carpet ever.
We have had the carpet recently installed. We are two older adults so
there is no kids in the house. Don't by it if you do. We have vacuumed
and cleaned as the paperwork says, but the carpet is still matting and
looks as if it is 20 years old. I have even tried a different vacuum and
it still does not help. I am stuck with this carpet for many years to
come and I regret putting in my house. The carpet that I replaced was
put in back in the 70s and it was in better shape after 40 years. I
wouldn't put this crap in a rental home. And the bad thing working with
the Shaw company is the worst. I am surprised they have a Better
Business Bueroue rating like they do. Customer service sucks, can't get
any help...nothing out of them. And the place we bought can't help
either. Worst of the worst.

"Very dissatisfied"
We purchased $8000.00 worth of carpeting. It has pulls and runs and
looks terrible. Shaw sent out an independent inspector. They say there
is nothing wrong which in reading the other reviews seems to be what
they always conclude. At this point we cant afford to replace. Never
buying Shaw again.

"Pet protect-it isn't"
We purchased Shaw Petprotect Bianca Sammy Berber Indoor carpet. We were
told by the Lowe's salesman that it would protect against cat throw up
and dog accidents. It does not. My cat threw up on it and it is as
difficult to clean as my 12 year old carpet was. The salesman did not
tell us that my dog's toenails would snag the carpet with just normal
wear. The installer told us that. It does snag and must be clipped or
the carpet will run. I will have a bald carpet in a couple of years.
